Steve is a senior tech operator and startup veteran turned full-time investor with two decades of experience at small to large-size organizations.

Steve joined ACE as a Partner at the end of 2022 to build up ACE Ventures and launch its newest fund, ACE Swiss Tech Outliers, focused on the broader Swiss tech ecosystem.

Before joining ACE, Steve advised investors, startups, scale-ups, and Tech executives. He was also an Operating Partner at ACE, where he helped ACE portfolio companies with their strategy and operations. He has sat on the ACE Investment Committee since 2021.

Previously, Steve launched and built Uber in Switzerland from 2014 to 2016, after which he became GM in France, Switzerland, and Austria until the end of 2020. During his 6+ years at Uber, he built, scaled, and led a 200-person team and what became one of Uber's largest businesses globally (35,000+ drivers, several millions of users, 50+ cities).

Before Uber, Steve was a Senior Manager at AppDirect, where he focused on European expansion. He also spent over six years in Finance, with roles in M&A at Morgan Stanley in London and Investment Management at Rothschild.

Steve sits on the Boards of Sinpex, Alpian, and Gmelius. He holds an MSc in Communication System Engineering from EPFL and an MBA from INSEAD.
